At long last, some of the best high school football players from across the state were recognized for their excellence as players and teammates.

ScoringLive, Hawaii’s No. 1 source for prep sports statistics and box scores, recently released its annual All-Hawaii football teams for the 2025 season. The prestigious selections serve as the site’s All-State teams.

The Big Island received plenty of recognition on the list, led by Kamehameha-Hawaii, this past season’s BIIF Division II champion.

It’s easy to see why Kealoha Wengler’s squad was featured. The island champs finished 8-6 overall on the season — averaging nearly 22 points per game while allowing 17.1, beating Honoka‘a 39-26 to win the conference crown.

KSH had a balanced offensive attack in 2025, but the unit was mainly led by sophomore star running back Dallas Enriquez, who rushed for 1,327 yards and 20 touchdowns across 14 games. His biggest game of the season came against the Dragons in Nov. 2025, where he rushed for an impressive 329 yards and four scores. In the DII state tournament, Enriquez rushed for 191 yards and two touchdowns in the Warriors’ two matchups against PAC-5 and Kamehameha-Maui.

Thanks to Enriquez’s services, the young budding star was named to the All-Hawaii DII First Team. Joining him on the squad was receiver teammate Chaseton Wong, who caught 61 passes for 1,032 yards and nine touchdowns as a junior. His strongest game of the year came against PAC-5, where he caught five receptions for 129 yards and two scores — averaging nearly 26 yards per catch. Wong reached over 100 receiving yards four times across the season, and caught at least one touchdown pass in eight of his 13 games played.

The Warriors additionally had two lineman make the first team — offensive lineman Ahyou Akau and defensive lineman Teva Sanchez, who both played critical roles in the trenches. Punter Kaikoa Nobriga was also selected as a specialist, and was named to the All-Hawaii DII Second Team as a linebacker.

Sanchez and Nobriga’s fellow defensive teammates, defensive back Maui Kammerer and utility Paliku Nachor, were named to the second team.

The Konawaena Wildcats had less recognition than past years on the Division I teams, but punter Makani Ige was named to the first team as a specialist. Offensive lineman Egen Uemura was selected to the second team. Critical defensive stalwarts such as lineman Zane Fujihara-Faavesi, defensive back Jahsiah Souza-Armstead and utility Taimane Souza-Fautanu were also named to the second team.

Kona finished the year 10-3 overall and 8-0 in league play, winning the BIIF DI title once again. The Wildcats averaged an impressive 39.6 points per game while allowing under 4. After beating Kea‘au 41-6 in Nov. 2025 to win the island crown, the green and white fell to Kailua in the opening round of the HHSAA DI tournament.

BIIF DI runner-up Kea‘au had two selections to the second team — running back Charleston Salazar and linebacker Cyler Quick. The Cougars finished the year with a 6-6 overall record.

Salazar carried a good bulk of Kea‘au’s offense, rushing for 1,240 yards on 5.5 yards per carry and 13 touchdowns. The junior rushed for over 200 yards twice — for 235 against Hilo in August 2025 and then for 239 on the Vikings in early November. Salazar also had four games with multiple rushing touchdowns.
